We love Ristorante al Castello...

From the Hotel Castello di Reschio’s western ramparts one can see why the Umbrians built this fortified castle to defend their territory from rampaging Tuscans 1000 years ago. Now, Reschio’s second restaurant, Al Castello enjoys amazing tranquil views with stunning sunsets, while fig trees gloriously perfume the terrace at this time of year.

Every detail has been considered, from the Smart Baby Poggibonsi Lamps (rechargeable without electric cords) and just the right height so as not to impede conversation; the buffet table, designed by BB for Reschio and made by local artisans, will tempt castle dwellers each morning laden for breakfast, while traditional Italian specialities will be served each evening, using ingredients sourced from the estate or nearby. Other spaces, such as a semi-secluded dining table for eight or the Old Castle Kitchen, where guests can linger over liqueurs and coffee, with a blazing fire in the winter. It is a restaurant for every season. We cannot wait to open this coming spring.
