Reschio DNA
The Family
Reschio is a living estate, shaped over more than three decades with love, rigour and vision. The Bolza family, originally of Austro-Hungarian origin, settled in Italy and made Reschio, an over one thousand year old estate, their home in the mid 1980s. What began as the restoration of crumbling ruins gradually evolved into a deeply personal project, one that weaves together architecture, design and family life with a profound commitment to the land
the Estate
The estate is owned, designed, run and inhabited by the Bolza family themselves: architects, creatives and custodians of this extraordinary place. Every path walked, every building restored, every idea realised has passed through their hands. This is their home, and everything they do feeds back into the land and life of the estate
household traditions and habits
Like in any old grand house Reschio has its array of household habits and annual traditions

RESCHIO:
THE FIRST THOUSAND YEARS
The book is in glorious colour with fabulous photographs and a well-documented archive that graphically shows how the landscape has evolved into an ecosystem including biodynamic farming, and how, from 50 ruins, 31 houses have metamorphosised into stunning architecturally designed houses still leaving some gems for the future
Celebrations We host only a few, carefully considered events, each one shaped with thought and in keeping with the spirit of Reschio. Creating gatherings that feel intimate, meaningful, and rooted in the spirit of the place. Whether it’s a celebration, a dinner, or something entirely unexpected, we keep things small and ask for full trust in how we shape the occasion
