Supporting together the Next Generation
Reschio and the New Generation Foundation are united by a deep belief in the performing arts and a tangible commitment to supporting them. Over time, this shared purpose has grown into a strong and meaningful synergy.
Each year, the proceeds from the Reschio Annual Summer Play are donated in full to the Foundation, helping to support the studies of a young musical talent.
This year’s Reschio Scholar is the South African tenor Vuyisa Xipu, appointed Mascarade Emerging Artist 2025/2027. To celebrate this well-deserved achievement, he was recently among the first artists to perform on the newly built stage of Reschio’s Chocolate Box Theatre.
A graduate of the University of Cape Town, Vuyisa has already taken part in productions across Europe, performing works by Donizetti, Britten, Verdi, Offenbach and Handel.
We are certain this marks the beginning of a luminous career, one we are proud to share with the many other talents we will continue to support together.
