At the top of an ancient and classic cypress driveway is Grugliano. It comprises three buildings: the main residence, a gate house and a pool house. It was the most important of the mediaeval farmhouses at Reschio and, its nearness to the castle is an added bonus. In 1996 Grugliano was the earliest of all Reschio’s houses to be restored, its interiors remain original from that period. The property, whilst incredibly charming and well maintained, is a more simple standard when compared to the other houses at Reschio and this is reflected in the rental price Grugliano epitomises traditional Umbrian living, from the small market trinkets above the chimney mantel to the tiled kitchen worktop and the richly decorated ceramics in all the bathrooms. It has a generous layout with 7 bedrooms, surrounded by extensive gardens.
